"Anne Boleyn" Canvas Cushion
Anne Boleyn (c. 1501 – 19 May 1536) was Queen of England from 1533 to 1536, as the second wife of King Henry VIII. The circumstances of her marriage and of her execution by beheading for treason and other charges made her a key figure in the political and religious upheaval that marked the start of the English Reformation.

"Henry VIII" Canvas Cushion
Henry VIII (28 June 1491 – 28 January 1547) was King of England from 22 April 1509 and King of Ireland from 18 June 1542 until his death in 1547. Henry is best known for his six marriages, and his efforts to have his first marriage (to Catherine of Aragon) annulled.

"Riene Margot" Canvas Cushion
Margaret of Valois (14 May 1553 – 27 March 1615), popularly known as La Reine Margot, was a French princess of the Valois dynasty who became Queen of Navarre by marriage to Henry III of Navarre and then also Queen of France at her husband's 1589 accession to the latter throne as Henry IV.

The famous queen took refuge in the local castle at Saint Projet on September 26 and 27, 1585.

In Irish Celtic mythology , the Tuatha Dé Danann ("tribes of the goddess Dana") are gods who come from four northern islands of the world: Falias, Gorias, Findias and Murias; from these mythical cities they bring five talismans: the spear of Lug, the sword of Nuada, the cauldron and club of Dagda (although the cauldron is often attributed to Ceridwen), and the Stone of Fal.

"Sphinx" Canvas Cushion
Calling card for "Le Sphinx" which was a maison close (brothel) in Paris in the 1930s and 1940s. Along with the "Le Chabanais" and "One-Two-Two" it was considered one of the most luxurious and famous Parisian brothels.

It was the first luxury brothel and opened on the left bank of Seine. Because of its location in the triangle of "literary" cafés (La Coupole, Rotonda and the Cafe du Dome in Montparnasse, it was popular with literary and artistic bohemians.
